So, the genetics team confirmed a tiny deletion (0.269-0.376 Mb) of chromosome 12 (12p12.2p12.1) variation of normal. Not associated with any syndrome or heart defects. So, this test did not answer our "why?" or "will this happen again?" questions. Which is a good thing, as I was not hoping for a genetic answer. So, more good news that supports our hope for Elliott to be a healthy, happy boy!
Oh! I forgot to tell you that I confirmed that Elliott's thymus is still intact! So yea t-cells! I'll post a link to mayo clinic on the thymus soon.
